BEING E-Learning Hub

Welcome to BEING’s e-Learning Hub – the new home for BEING’s education courses which are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of mental health consumers, carers and allies.

BEING’s e-Learning courses are self-paced, online modules designed for you to complete on your own, at a time and pace that works for you.

Key features of BEING's e-learning courses

– The content of our courses have been co-designed with lived-experience experts and peer educators to meet the specific needs and requests of mental health consumers.

– Courses are designed to take between 1 and 2 hours to complete, so they’re easy to fit into your day. However, depending on individual learning styles, it may take longer.

– You can pause a course at any time and start where you left off later.

– At the end of each course, you will be able to download a certificate of completion as a record of your study.

– All courses feature narration (that can be turned off) to suit different learning needs.

– All courses have been developed to be person-centred and trauma-informed.

For the best learning experience, we recommend

Headphones

All courses include background music and a narration function. You can choose to turn both these options off but if you don’t, you may wish to have headphones on while completing the courses

Laptop/Desktop Computer

Some features of our e-leanring courses may not be accessible or work as expected when using a devices such as an iphone/ipad. We are working on this but for now a laptop or desktop computer is recommended

If you are having any trouble, need to ask a question or just have some feedback on the Hub, please email us at learning@being.org.au

Join us in building a skilled and educated community that supports and empowers individuals and their families to navigate the complex world of mental health with grace, dignity and hope.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, sea and waterways upon which we live and work. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and recognise their strong and continuing connection to land
